Welcome to the Private Practice for Paediatric and Adolescent Medicine

Dr.med. Anette Meidert

I strive to provide excellent individual and personal care. This means taking time to follow children in their development and to address parents’ questions and concerns.

My medical training has taken place mostly in Munich. Additionally, I have worked in the United States (Stanford and Minneapolis), in Australia (Sydney) and Switzerland (Lausanne). Apart from specialising in General Paediatric and Adolescent Medicine I also have specialised further in Paediatric Cardiology and Neonatology. I have also got additional qualifications in psychosomatic primary care, Diving Medicine and Emergency Medicine. In addition to the membership in the German Society for Pediatric and Adolescent Medicine, the German Society for Pediatric Cardiology, I am also a member of the Society for Diving and Hyperbaric Medicine and as an active member of the working group for children’s diving (www.gtuem.org). Since 2018 I also work for the Technical Universitiy Munich in the field of paediatric sports medicine and preventive care (www-paediatrische-sportmedizin.de).

Dear patients and parents,

the corona epidemic has kept us very busy, and the aftermath can still be felt everywhere.

At the Technical University of Munich, we have therefore carried out a very detailed study on this topic. The data collection is now complete. We were particularly interested in the following questions: How exactly are children and adolescents affected? What are the specific long-term consequences of an infection with Covid-19 on their cardiovascular system and lungs? How is their physical fitness after an infection?

More information can be found here:

Please feel free to contact me personally, examinations can still be carried out individually.

 Best regards,

Your paediatrician Anette Meidert

“These days both things and people are often seen as having to “function”. For me, it is, therefore, especially important to treat children and their families with respect and humanity”.
